Bio: Driving a computer during the daytime means I need to escape to the outdoors at the weekends. Viv and I bought our yacht together having spent months looking. We now regularly cruise the Solent and spend our holidays in the Channel Islands and France. Long term goal is to retire and cruise as far south as Morrocco and as far north west as Ireland. An Atlantic crossing could be a possibility, I want to park April Lass on that beach in the corner of Rodney Bay, St Lucia :-)

Bio: Native San Franciscan, and raised near the water, boats and mucking around with them has always a pleasure for me. From my grandfather's three vintage wood Chris-Crafts, to Sunfish, Lazers and Catalina 22s, I have never found a boat I couldn't like. But some I love more than others, and small swift sailboats will always be my favorites. Years spent living in Panama aided and abetted this passion and I yearn for warmer waters than the San Francisco Bay offers!
In addition to sailing I love to cook and am an avid reader. When finances and time have allowed I have also been an equestrian and loved cross country and distance riding.
I have a daughter who is turning 17 and right now I am making sure to enjoy my time with her, because I know it's short and when she is out on her own I will miss her terribly. On the other hand it will give me more time to work on the boat!
Currently we are restoring a classic plastic; a Cal 28 flush deck. As much as I loved the wood boats of my youth I would never own one; I am OVER bright work! Odds are good that if we get to cruising more than days or a week at a time we will graduate up to a larger boat, a multi hull of some sort high on the list of possibilities.

Bio: Left UK after college, and came to Kuwait (well, it was the best paying, and I had overdraft and a loan)...
Taught in primary schools for 14 years on and off.
First thing I did was realise I didn't really fit in here, either!!
Learnt to SCUBA dive. That was great. Weather got bad, so learnt to sail. That was it!! Bought a beachcat, met my man, bought a yacht...
Helped to run a dive shop for 8 years...
Now getting ready to sail off out of here.
